This beautiful 17th century country house is your personal retreat to entertain friends, family, business partners or host your wedding. The classical elegance and traditional English charm of Newington make it the perfect venue for an unforgettable event.
An elegant and beautifully restored 17th century country house. Set within 50 acres of grounds in one of the most unspoilt parts of Oxfordshire. It is based on plans in Rubens’ collection of engravings “The Palaces of Genoa”, and is a copy of the Pallavicini Palazzo. Newington House has been with the Nettleton family since 1989 when they took on the restoration task with tremendous enthusiasm, restoring it to its former glory. As well as a river running through the Newington House garden, the grounds feature a lake, walled garden, swimming pool, tennis court, meadows and woodland. The majority of our clients book our full day DJ package. By doing so they are giving us complete control of their wedding soundtrack which eliminates the need for things like organising playlists, hiring speakers, hiring multiple musicians to play at various times, or asking friends to 'hit play' during the ceremony.
