Set in the village of Wendover (near Aylesbury) The Red Lion Hotel is a perfect hotel and venue for your wedding. The hotel has a beautiful village pub and 23 bedrooms for your guests to relax and stay the night.

It is rumoured that Oliver Cromwell once stayed overnight at the inn, and addressed his troops from one of the upstairs windows!

Location - Right in the centre of Wendover this historic pub with rooms is just a five minute walk from the train station, a ten minute drive from Aylesbury and 45 minutes from London, making it a perfect place for a family break in the country.

The Ridgeway is nearby, and surrounded by glorious countryside making this a great place to stay while exploring the area on foot or bike. There are several excellent golf courses nearby too, including Ellesborough and the Western Turville - take a room and relax into a rural lifestyle for a few days!
