Located between Reading and Basingstoke, Silchester House is one of five exclusive romantic venues offered by Bijou Weddings. Perfect for a traditional English Wedding, the beautiful Grade II Victorian house venue exudes elegance and charm.
With a unique homely atmosphere, you are encouraged to feel as comfortable here as you would in your dream home. You can hold your whole day here as Silchester House is available for exclusive use for the entire day. The house is licensed to hold civil ceremonies within the property but also in their beautiful gardens. Options for your ceremony include our spacious Music Room, or if you prefer an outdoor celebration, the East Wing Garden. Both areas can accommodate up to 92 guests.

The majority of our clients book our full day DJ package. By doing so they are giving us complete control of their wedding soundtrack which eliminates the need for things like organising playlists, hiring speakers, hiring multiple musicians to play at various times, or asking friends to 'hit play' during the ceremony. Our set lists for the champagne/canapé reception provide perfect backdrop for a sunny day on the lawn, full of swing and ibiza chill out tracks. Having Signature Moments as your music consultants for the day will alleviate a lot of the stress that comes with organinsing so many separate elements, leaving you to relax and get on with the best day of your lives.
We get through an enormous amount of music in our wedding DJ sets, all tightly mixed whilst playing to the crowd at all times, with lots of imaginative switch ups, giving your guests that "OMG I LOVE THIS SONG!" feeling that will keep your party going all the way to the last tune.
