Built in 1831 St Albans Museum is one of Hertfordshire’s most unique historic wedding venues. The grade II listed Georgian building formerly used as St Albans’ town hall has recently been refurbished and repurposed as a museum, art gallery and elegant venue. From the moment you approach the grand white building with its large windows and impressive columns, it’s clear that this is a venue with a difference.
This magnificent building has a number of new additions including a hand excavated basement gallery and glazed links rooftop with breathtaking views across the stunning city centre.
The venue is the ideal choice for weddings ranging from the small and intimate to the large and grand offering a range of stunning rooms to choose from. The Assembly Room, with its ornate chandeliers and lustrous gold leaf, is perfect for a larger event with a seated capacity of 120 and standing capacity of 150. St Albans Museum also features a unique octagonal pre-Victorian Courtroom which is perfect for smaller gatherings or your ceremony or civil partnerships. While the sleek, white basement gallery offers a versatile space on which to project your own personal touches.

What music do you play?
We carry a varied music library of around 50,000 tracks which includes all of the essential party songs, latest releases and a wide collection which covers the past 50 years in music. I am a real DJ and have DJed for The Walkabout bars, Hedkandi, Kisstory and Ministry Of Sound Radio Station. I can read a crowd and am on hand prior to your event to plan your playlist, but many people are also happy to rely on the knowledge of my experience to keep the dancefloor busy on the night.
How far do you travel?
We are based in Marlow Buckinghamshire and we cover most of South East England. Using the M40, M4, M25 and the many motorways we are ideally positioned to cover events right across London and the home counties. Although, we make regular appearances as far away as Newquay in Cornwall. We’re happy to travel for customers who know what they want!
When I’ve decided to book you, what happens next?
We would just need your contact details (address & phone number) and the details of your event. Then we’d issue a contract via mail for the services / package which you are booking, this document will have event times, set up times and fees, so please check it carefully. Then you just simply sign, return it and pay your deposit and you are booked!
We have bookings in the diary up to 18 months in advance. At Christmas bookings are often made in the early to mid part of the year, whilst in the Wedding season May-September, we can be taking bookings up to two years in advance. However, it doesn’t necessarily meant that every date is taken, but once you’ve made your decision, it’s advisable to let us know.
