Markshall Estate is a romantic wedding venue located in Colchester, in England's Essex region. Here, couples can exchange vows in front of all their loved ones, nestled in the charm of 2,350 acres of serene Essex countryside. This property is conveniently located less than an hour from London, ideal for loved ones who are travelling from overseas.
At Markshall Estate, you will have a choice of three unique wedding locations to choose from, depending on your vision. Get ready in style in your very own private preparation suite, just minutes from the Coach House. After your first kiss, have your wedding photographs taken in a number of stunning locations throughout the Arboretum and Walled Garden. Imagine a romantic woodland wedding set under a canopy of ancient trees with a magical tipi celebration in a picturesque meadow. Or, step into the grand yet intimate 18th-century Coach House, which overlooks the lush Arboretum and lakes. Just a few steps away, you'll find the beautiful Parterre Garden, where you can exchange vows surrounded by delicate blooms, scented borders, and majestic trees. Wedding breakfasts and receptions can be held in the rustic barn, which has lots of wooden features and a cosy atmosphere. The estate is licensed to hold civil ceremonies.

The majority of our clients book our full day DJ package. By doing so they are giving us complete control of their wedding soundtrack which eliminates the need for things like organising playlists, hiring speakers, hiring multiple musicians to play at various times, or asking friends to 'hit play' during the ceremony.
Having Signature Moments as your music consultants for the day will alleviate a lot of the stress that comes with organinsing so many separate elements, leaving you to relax and get on with the best day of your lives.
We get through an enormous amount of music in our wedding DJ sets, all tightly mixed whilst playing to the crowd at all times, with lots of imaginative switch ups, giving your guests that "OMG I LOVE THIS SONG!" feeling that will keep your party going all the way to the last tune.
