Here at Signature Moments we take a contemporary approach to DJing. By that we mean seamless mixing and no corny chat – we think there’s no bigger party killer than the old fashioned ‘personality’ style DJ who plays terrible music in a random order and makes awful, pointless jokes over the microphone all night.
We can play all styles and genres, and always aim to work with you to get an idea of the music you're into (and not into!). So, we’re happy to have as much or as little input from clients as you want to give us – it’s your day and we’ll play whatever you want! That said, we’re lucky enough to enjoy a great reputation and so are often booked and just trusted to play what we like. And if left to our own devices, we’ll craft a set of cool, credible party classics from across the board that everyone knows and loves.

This magical event space can accommodate as few as 10 guests for an intimate celebration or welcome as many as 100 guests for something grander. They have a multitude of rooms that can cater to all party sizes and needs. You will be greeted by the venue's awe-inspiring exterior, and one of their most impressive features includes the large bronze doors that invite you into the space. Portsmouth Guildhall offers a choice between four different function rooms. They have all been decorated to exude a slightly different feel and look, giving couples plenty of options to choose those that suit them best. The Lord Mayor's Banqueting Room and the Portsmouth Room are both ideal settings for ceremonies. In the Zodiac Gallery, your guests will find one of the world's most important and biggest acid stained glass murals. This space would be excellent for an evening buffet or reception. Next door, the Freda Swain Lounge is also a great spot to hold an evening reception. Within, you will find comfortable sofas and a dance floor for dancing the night away. The majority of our clients book our full day DJ package. By doing so they are giving us complete control of their wedding soundtrack which eliminates the need for things like organising playlists, hiring speakers, hiring multiple musicians to play at various times, or asking friends to 'hit play' during the ceremony. Our set lists for the champagne/canapé reception provide perfect backdrop for a sunny day on the lawn, full of swing and ibiza chill out tracks. Having Signature Moments as your music consultants for the day will alleviate a lot of the stress that comes with organinsing so many separate elements, leaving you to relax and get on with the best day of your lives.

We get through an enormous amount of music in our wedding DJ sets, all tightly mixed whilst playing to the crowd at all times, with lots of imaginative switch ups coming out of leftfield, giving your guests that "OMG I LOVE THIS SONG!" feeling that will keep your party going all the way to the last tune.
