Searching for a review of the Wild Strawberry Cafe Wedding Venue in Great Missenden?
We had so much fun DJing for Nicole and Dan at their wedding at the Wild Strawberry Cafe in Great Missenden in August! The venue is probably the smallest I have played so my set up was smaller than usual. I placed 2 small uplighters by the entrance and just used 2 moving head lamps next to our starlight DJ booth.
The wedding party used my p.a system for their speeches and Nicole and Dan chose God Only Knows by The Beach Boys for their first dance. A lot of family had come from Australia so the first half of the night was quiet with family members catching up with each other. The last half was definitely when the party started and requests such as Don't Stop Me Now by Queen and Uptown Funk had the whole yurt rocking! Unfortunately the last song has to finish at 11.30pm at Wild Strawberry cafe and nobody was ready to leave!
Thank you to Nicole and Dan for booking me to be your wedding DJ. I loved playing at the Wild Strawberry Cafe and even stopped by the farm shop on the way out to pick up a bag of their yummy granola!
