Situated in Petersfield, Southdowns Manor is a countryside wedding venue in Hampshire, England. This historic manor is located in the heart of Southdowns National Park and dates back to the nineteenth century. Reimagined as a luxury boutique hotel, classic elegance combines modern interiors and contemporary twists. With views of the idyllic English countryside, a wisteria walkway, and an outdoor gazebo, this is a picturesque destination for secluded and peaceful wedding weekends.
Southdowns Manor is a versatile venue that facilitates both intimate gatherings and large wedding parties. Licensed for civil ceremonies, to-be-weds can choose to exchange vows by the outdoor gazebo or in any one of the suites indoors. Alternatively, you can plan a religious service at the Grade I listed St George’s Church in nearby Trotton. The Sussex Suite is suited to micro weddings for 40 loved ones. This event space is also ideal for informal cocktails and canapes after the ceremony. The Conservatory is another choice location for elopements and drinks parties. For larger weddings, The Banqueting Suite accommodates up to 150 friends and family members. This upscale ballroom has retained its traditional charm while boasting a bright and modern aesthetic. Here, buffet service or formal plated meals are served, followed by the evening DJ. Characterised by silk drapes, ambient fairy lights, and polished wooden floors, you can decorate the Banqueting Suite according to your chosen theme and colour scheme.
