Thorpe Manor is a Grade II listed Georgian manor house that has been lovingly restored to provide a serene and tranquil setting perfect for your wedding day. Surrounded by stunning views of the 200-acre estate and full of period features, Thorpe Manor is a dream location for you marry in.

When booking with Thorpe Manor, you have the choice of either an indoor or outdoor wedding. Licensed for civil ceremonies in two gorgeous reception rooms, Thorpe Manor would be the perfect location for an intimate affair with up to 60 guests. However, if you wish to host something a little larger, Thorpe Manor’s grounds can accommodate up to 300 guests, and the quaint 13thcentury village church can seat 120 for your ceremony. Whichever one you choose to have; you can be sure that the team at Thorpe Manor will work with you to make it the wedding you always dreamed of

From the moment you and your guests arrive at Thorpe Manor you will be greeted by their team of Butlers who will work effortlessly and seamlessly to make your day as relaxing as it will be unforgettable. While the Manor dates back to the Georgian era, it also boasts many modern conveniences. All 14 unique bedrooms come with coffee machines and Egyptian cotton sheets, and the 13 bedrooms’ have free standing baths and rainforest showers designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

How much do you charge for a wedding / event disco in Banbury?

There are so many variables when it comes to an event. Our price depends on a number of things, fundamentally the length, location and the size of the event. However, more and more people want something special, and we offer a number of different solutions which we can both tailor to your budget, but also ensuring you get what you most wanted. The best way for us to provide an accurate price is to contact us today to discuss your requirements. We are based just down the road from this venue so are able to set up any equipment at any time during the day, whatever works best for you!

SM Discos has a first-class reputation, we have worked hard to ensure we deliver quality at a good price. Although we are not the cheapest, we are also not the most expensive. Generally if you are scouting around for the lowest price we often wont be able to compete. It’s the old saying “you get what you pay for”.

What music do you play?

We carry a varied music library of around 50,000 tracks which includes all of the essential party songs, latest releases and a wide collection which covers off the past 50 years in music. I am a real DJ and have DJed for The Walkabout bars, Hedkandi, Kisstory and Ministry Of Sound Radio Station. I can read a crowd and am on hand prior to your event to plan your playlist, but many people are also happy to rely on the knowledge of my experience to keep the dancefloor busy on the night.

How far do you travel?

We are based in Marlow Buckinghamshire and we cover most of South East England. Using the M40, M4, M25 and the many motorways we are ideally positioned to cover events right across London and the home counties. Although, we make regular appearances as far away as Newquay in Cornwall. We’re happy to travel for customers who know what they want!

When I’ve decided to book you, what happens next?

We would just need your contact details (address & phone number) and the details of your event. Then we’d issue a contract via mail for the services / package which you are booking, this document will have event times, set up times and fees, so please check it carefully. Then you just simply sign, return it and pay your deposit and you are booked! 

We have bookings in the diary up to 18 months in advance.  At Christmas bookings are often made in the early to mid part of the year, whilst in the Wedding season May-September, we can be taking bookings up to two years in advance. However, it doesn’t necessarily meant that every date is taken, but once you’ve made your decision, it’s advisable to let us know.
