Charleston is a House, Garden and Art Gallery situated in the South Downs National Park. From 1916, it was the home of artists Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, who were key members of the Bloomsbury group. Charleston is unique, a place of tranquil beautiful in the most beautiful, private setting and from 2020 opened its doors for a select number of weddings. True to its heritage, Charleston especially welcomes LGBTQ+ weddings.A wedding at Charleston enjoys use of the charming grounds including the Centenary Garden for reception drinks and bridal party photographs in the famous Walled Garden or orchard. Guests can then head over to the The Hay Barn and adjoining Threshing Barn for the wedding breakfast and party. There is ample on-site parking for guests.
