Here at Signature Moments we take a contemporary approach to DJing. By that we mean seamless mixing and no corny chat – we think there’s no bigger party killer than the old fashioned ‘personality’ style DJ who plays terrible music in a random order and makes awful, pointless jokes over the microphone all night.
We can play all styles and genres, and always aim to work with couples to get an idea of the music you're into (and not into!). So, we’re happy to have as much or as little input from couples as you want to give us – it’s your day and we’ll play whatever you want! That said, we’re lucky enough to enjoy a great reputation and so are often booked by couples and just trusted to play what we like. And if left to our own devices, we’ll craft a set of cool, credible party classics from across the board that everyone knows and loves.

About - Hylands House and Grand Pavilion is a wedding venue located in Chelmsford, Essex. This stunning property is set amongst the Essex countryside and is ideal for those who want to celebrate in a luxurious setting surrounded by acres of fields

Your big day can begin with a quaint ceremony in the Drawing Room. Here, up to 80 people can gather to witness you and your partner beautifully exchange vows. This room is complete with hand-painted wall motifs and an incredible marble fireplace. Once you've tied the knot, you and your guests can make your way into the sunshine for a drinks reception and photos. Hylands House and Grand Pavilion offer sprawling curated gardens which are great for post-ceremony photo opportunities and are sure to be cherished for years to come. Banquets can follow in the rightly named Banqueting Room. This space allows you and your close ones to sit down for a formal meal. The room is trimmed with 24-carat gold leaf and scroll decorations, silk-lined walls, and hand-painted motifs once more. Receptions that run long into the night can then unfold in The Grand Pavilion. This space offers views of the courtyard and can be arranged to meet your specific requirements. There is ample space for seated guests, a dance floor, and DJ .

The majority of our clients book our full day DJ package. By doing so they are giving us complete control of their wedding soundtrack which eliminates the need for things like organising playlists, hiring speakers, hiring multiple musicians to play at various times, or asking friends to 'hit play' during the ceremony.
Having Signature Moments as your music consultants for the day will alleviate a lot of the stress that comes with organinsing so many separate elements, leaving you to relax and get on with the best day of your lives.

We get through an enormous amount of music in our wedding DJ sets, all tightly mixed whilst playing to the crowd at all times, with lots of imaginative switch ups, giving your guests that "OMG I LOVE THIS SONG!" feeling that will keep your party going all the way to the last tune.
