Shendish Manor Hotel is a stunning historic wedding venue, set just 20 minutes from central London by train. Nestled within 160 acres of beautiful and idyllic Hertfordshire countryside, it’s hard to believe that the breathtaking venue is so close to the city.
Whether your wedding is a small occasion for 20 to a large gathering for 400, Shendish Manor can cater for you and their only aim is to create your perfect day.
The Manor building dates back to 1853 and exudes charm and timeless elegance. The Manor House is an ideal space to host your wedding for up to 94 guests during the day, and up to 160 in the evening. The Manor has its own entrance, a spacious and refined lounge area and private bar. With many original features including high ornate ceilings, oak paneling, Jacobean fireplace and a sweeping staircase - there are a number of unique photo opportunities to take advantage of.
The Manor House opens out onto the grounds of the estate and the Dutch gardens, perfect for enjoying your drinks reception, and another opportunity to capture some great photos.
The Manor Gardens also provide an option for an outside civil ceremony. We are licensed for up to 120 people for an outside ceremony, under the stone gazebo.
